Last weekend the Basel Open Masters 2025 in the St. Jakobshalle in Basel was successfully completed. Already in the 15th execution, the international karate tournament has invited kata and kumite fighters from a total of 21 nations to Basel. With more than 618 entries, the Basel Open Masters is the largest international karate tournament in Switzerland.

Winner of the overall medal statistics is Turkey with 12 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 12 bronze medals ahead of Switzerland and Luxembourg. In 2025, the first time we honored the best Kata as well as the best Open Kumite Athlets als Basel Masters.
